Celebrate Trails Day, West Windsor Bicycle and Pedestrian Alliance

Saturday April 25, 2026
10:00 AM

Join the West Windsor Bicycle and Pedestrian Alliance in marking Celebrate Trails Day with a special walk through the Rogers Preserve on Saturday, April 25 in West Windsor. We will gather at the end of Berkshire Drive end of the Preserve (at the end of the cul de sac) at 9:45 for a 10 a.m. start.

This promises to be a family -friendly, flat and fun walk through one of the many preserved tracts of land in West Windsor. There’s also quite a range of vegetation to see. Can you find the remnants of the Christmas Tree farm that was once here? And who can name the two U.S. Presidents who have reportedly have been there? We will be walking for about an hour, but for those looking for something longer, we will add on a walk to one of the nearby Millstone River trails. Plan on about two hours for both. No matter which distance you choose, please bring water to stay hydrated. Ticks and insects will be out by then, so prepare to avoid then in whatever way you prefer. Parking is on neighborhood streets, so please be courteous! Any questions, please contact Chris Fisher at cfisher2468@gmail.com or 919-225-3969.
