Spring Open House, Stone Hill Learning Center

Stone Hill Learning Center will be holding our annual Spring Open House and free curriculum swap on Saturday, April 11, 1pm-3pm, at Stone Hill Church of Princeton, 1025 Bunn Drive, Princeton, NJ. Stop by to meet our teachers and learn about our course offerings for the 2026-27 school year. Since 1984, Stone Hill Learning Center has been providing area homeschool students from pre-K through high school with more traditional academics taught from a biblical perspective. History/Nature Hike at Institute Woods, Historical Society of Princeton

Princeton Battlefield parking lot, 500 Mercer Street, Princeton

Join us on a hike through the treasured Institute Woods to explore bits of history, as well as the sites and sounds that form this unique and serene setting. Hear stories about the Woods’ origin and the ways IAS mathematicians, physicists, and other members have engaged with it. Stops along the way will highlight the history of early Stony Brook, the Battle of Princeton, the Old Trolley trail, the establishment of the Institute for Advanced Study, and Founders Rock. We will make a special stop at the infamous Swinging Bridge, then hike over to the observation decks at the adjacent Rogers Wildlife Refuge. Along the way, there will be moments to observe, engage, and identify the different varieties of birds, plants, trees, and everything in between!

Samba Saturday!, ACP

What began as backyard jam sessions among friends has grown into a joyful community gathering. Samb’in Princeton is Princeton’s first roda de samba, where musicians play around a shared table and everyone is invited to sing, clap, dance, and celebrate together. Join us at the Arts Council to experience the rhythm, warmth, and spirit of samba — no musical experience needed, just bring your energy and enjoy! This event is BYOB — those over 21 are invited to bring their favorite beer, wine, or bubbly to enjoy during the event.
