Four Centuries of African American Soldier, Trent House Museum

The Trent House Association will host Four Centuries of African American Soldiers, a living history program, on Saturday, February 21, 2026, from 10 am to 4 pm. This free family-friendly drop-in program will take place in the historic William Trent House Museum, located at 15 Market Street, Trenton, with free parking behind the museum property off William Trent Place.

Four Centuries of African American Soldiers is a living history program that tells the heroic stories of America's black warriors spanning four hundred years until today. The program includes authentic military artifacts, re-enactors, and military veterans sharing their own personal stories. As visitors move from room to room in the historic house, they will be able to interact with the re-enactors, hear stories of actual soldiers who served, and examine items of military life from each period of military history. Four Centuries of African American Soldiers offers an unforgettable experience that is both informative and inspiring.

Winery Weekend Music Series @Terhune's

Artwork that Inspires Others - Workshop with Artist in Residence, WWAC

This workshop invites participants to discover the powerful connection between words, music, and visual art. Each participant is encouraged to bring in a favorite poem or song—something meaningful and personally inspiring. Through guided discussion and creative exploration, participants will learn how to find visual imagery within the music or poem and translate that to an original piece of artwork. The emphasis will be on spontaneity, mark-making, and finding personal voice through materials. 7 Stories of Old Hunterdon, Hunterdon Symphony

"The Story of James Woby – Allentown Native & Civil War Hero"

At sunset on June 15, 1864, 27-year-old James B. Woby, born and raised on Church Street in Allentown, NJ charged up a hill outside of Petersburg, Virginia in what was described as "a blizzard of Rebel bullets." As his regiment's color bearer, Woby was armed only with the Regimental flag, emblazoned with the motto "Sic Semper Tyrannis" – "Thus always to tyrants."

Join us on Saturday, February 21, 2026 for "The Story of James Woby – Allentown Native & Civil War Hero" beginning with a pasta dinner at 5 pm in Allentown Methodist Church, 23 Church Street in Allentown, NJ. There is a suggested donation of $5. Please RSVP by emailing mccormicknj@aol.com.

East Coast Indoor Dirt Nationals, CURE Arena

The Indoor Auto Racing Championship Fueled by VP Racing Fuels brings together the greatest racers in the region to compete in auto racing events indoors. Events take place from December through February in arenas along the East Coast. Whereas most races take place on specific race tracks, the Indoor Auto Racing Championship events take place on the cement floor of the arena. Combining all of the exciting short track racing action – fierce competitors, high speeds, passing, bumps, crashes and flips – intensifies them and puts them in easy view of spectators, with the amenities of modern sports, concert, and event facilities.
