Read & Pick Kids Program, Terhune Orchards

Peaches

Read & Pick is an innovative program that combines hands-on farm activity with your young child followed by an education program with stories highlighting the fruit or farm area. Parents and young children (ages preschool to 8 years) are welcome to celebrate everything wonderful about Peaches. We will read two books about peaches and tree fruit followed by an educational component. Then everyone will pick his or her own container of peaches.

Preschool Nature Class: Butterfly Magic, The Watershed Institute

Watershed Educator Alison Novobilsky is excited to share her love of Butterflies with you. We will learn about their lifecycle, their special diet and try to catch some with nets in the meadow. Classes generally include a craft, hike, and activity for the week's theme. We spend time outdoors each week, so come dressed in layers and waterproof shoes.

Kids: Outdoor Storytime at Princeton Shopping Center

This interactive storytime features books, songs, rhymes and movement for kids 18 months and older with an adult. Please bring a blanket. Registration not required. Princeton's Annual Community Night Out

The pool will be open until 7:30 p.m., and you’ll have a chance to explore police vehicles and equipment.
