Kids: Outdoor Storytime at Princeton Shopping Center

This interactive storytime features books, songs, rhymes and movement for kids 18 months and older with an adult. Please bring a blanket. Registration not required. Children must be accompanied by an adult throughout the storytime. This program will be canceled in the evert of inclement weather. Check the website for updates.

Fun and educational 30-40 minute tours designed for ages 5 and up to inspire young minds and introduce them to the real people, planes, and possibilities that make flying such an amazing experience. See planes, sit in the pilot's seat, learn about flying and maintaining planes, ask questions, and take pictures. Canceled in case of bad weather.

Youth Workshop with Illustrator Rashad Malik Davis, Princeton Public Library

Illustrator Rashad Malik Davis leads a series of workshops where rising sixth- through ninth-graders will create large, moving, fantasy creatures out of cardboard. Registration required. Join award-winning author/illustrator and Maker-in-Residence Rashad Malik Davis for a fun workshop series. Using cardboard, pencils, paint and other mixed media, Rashad Malik Davis will guide participants through the process of researching, designing on paper and then bringing a mythological creature to life. Register only if you can commit to attending all three workshops, as skills build from session to session.
