Cook Talks: Hydroponic Gardens, Lawrence Headquarters Branch

We are excited to welcome Hope from the Robbinsville (NJ) Township Recreation Department to discuss growing and maintaining hydroponic gardens. Hope will share the benefits of their hydroponic farm and teach patrons how to make a take-home mason jar hydro system. Sponsored by Friends of the Lawrence Library. Registration is appreciated.

Native Plant Workshop, Lawrence Headquarters Branch

Learn how to support local wildlife with native plants in this hands-on workshop led by Kelly Rypkema, Director of Environmental Education at Mercer County Park Commission on Thursday, June 19 at 6:00pm at the Lawrence Headquarters Branch of the Mercer County Library System. Discover how to identify native plants, research the best ones for your space, and find local nurseries. Bring a smartphone or laptop if you can. Some lucky participants will take home a native plant to get started!
