This Halloween has much in store for our area. From readings for children, scary classic movies and dancing, there is something for everyone. Put on your favorite costume and enjoy what the night has to offer. Just one question: What's your favorite Halloween candy?

 

Morven Museum & Garden’s Reading of “The Berenstain Bears and the Spooky Old Tree”

Join us on Halloween for a special reading of “The Berenstain Bears and the  Spooky Old Tree,” a popular 1970s children’s book when Morven was the NJ         Governor’s mansion. Create a take-home craft in honor of Morven’s historic trees; every child will receive a Halloween treat. Ages 3 to 6. $10; Free with             Family membership

 

 

Halloween Fright Fest: Psycho

One Day Only! Thursday, October 31st see Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho on the big screen. Phoenix secretary Marion Crane (Janet Leigh), on the lam after stealing    $40,000 from her employer in order to run away with her boyfriend, Sam Loomis (John Gavin), is overcome by exhaustion during a heavy rainstorm. Traveling on t   he back roads to avoid the police, she stops for the night at the ramshackle Bates Motel and meets the polite but highly strung proprietor Norman Bates             (Anthony Perkins), a young man with an interest in taxidermy and a difficult relationship with his mother. One of the most shocking films of all time, Alfred             Hitchcock's Psycho changed the thriller genre forever. Price: $12.50

Party on Halloween Evening. Costumes are encouraged, but they are optional. There will be no competition. All persons wearing costumes will be given  recognition. DimOn will have some musical contributions to the Halloween Spirit.  So come in costume or come and watch the costumed dancers. No Tricks - Just Treats at this party! Leave the day's troubles outside and come inside to celebrate with the VivaTango Family. Lighted off-street parking in their ghost-free             lot. Socialize around the food and beverage tables.
