June brings longer days, warmer weather — and beautiful farmers markets and an abundance of fresh fruits, veggies and more. Here are some local spots to grab local produce, along with a variety of other local goods. What’s your favorite thing to make with your farmers market finds?
Princeton Farmers Market

Thursdays
Princeton Farmers Market’s Summer Market Season kicked off mid-May and will run through November 18th. The Market is every Thursday from 10AM-2PM.
All customers must follow social distancing protocols and maintain a safe distance from each other. Customers are required to wear a mask. The Market is at the Franklin Ave. Parking Lot (46-80 Franklin Ave). There is parking along Witherspoon St. and on Franklin Ave. Vendors include places like Barking Good Bakery, Bone-In Food, Cherry Grove Organic Farm, Chickadee Creek Farm, Davidson’s Exotic Mushrooms, Honey Rose Botanical, LoRe Pasta, Lost Bread Co., Picklelicious, Queen Mab’s Herbs, Small World Coffee, Terhune Orchards and more.
West Windsor Community Farmers Market
877 Alexander Road, Princeton Junction
Saturdays
West Windsor Community Farmers Market is Saturday from 9AM-1PM at the Vaughn Drive Lot at the Princeton Junction Train Station. It runs through Thanksgiving. Participating farms include Beechtree Farm, Cherry Grove Farm, Chia-Sin Farm, Davidson Exotic Mushrooms, Fulper Family Farmstead, Hopewell Valley Vineyards, Jeff’s Organic Produce, Moonshot Farm, North Slope Organic Farm and many more. Vendors include Dr. Pickle, Jammin’ Crepes, LoRe Pasta, Terra Momo Bread Company, River Horse Brewing Company and many more.
Select Saturdays feature a Yes We Can! Food Drive, where you can purchase food items from the market or bring non-perishable items from home to donate to the cause.
Trenton Farmers Market
960 Spruce Street, Lawrence Township
Wednesday-Sunday
The Farmers Market, which began in 1939, is open Wednesday-Saturday from 9AM-6PM and Sundays from 9AM-3PM. As of May 28, wearing masks at the market is optional for those who are fully vaccinated.
Farms including Cedarville Farms, Corner Copia Farms, Cranberry Hall Farms, Pineland Farms, Russo’s Fruit and Vegetable Farm and Terhune Orchards are part of the market.There are also vendors selling baked good, prime meats, cold cuts & poultry, breakfast & lunch selections, candys & snacks, fresh seafood & specialty items.
Terhune Orchards

7 days a week
Terhune’s Farm Store is open year-round and filled with fruits, vegetables (more than 35 crops are grown at Terhune), fresh-baked goods, desserts, jelly & jams and local gourmet specialties. The store currently has an online option, with the option to shop online & pick up in store or get delivery to your door.
Terhune also has “pick your own,” fun, including PYO asaparagus, strawberries, cherries, bluebeerries, blackberries — and of course, apples.
Cherry Grove Organic Farm
11 Carter Road, Princeton
Cherry Grove Organic Farm is located three miles south of Princeton, NJ. Since 2002 they’ve been dedicated to growing a wide variety of fresh, organic produce. Their crops include a variety of vegetables like arugula, kale, mixed greens, spinach, radishes, broccoli, cabbage, summer squash, carrots, onions, potatoes, garlic, peppers, tomatoes, eggplants & beans.
