In September Outstanding in the Field (OITF) will be setting their long table at Cherry Grove Farm. Outstanding in the Field is a roving restaurant without walls. Traditional restaurants source ingredients for their menus; OITF brings their kitchen right to the source - setting their long tables in fields, orchards and along the seashores where the meal's ingredients were harvested. Their aim is to reconnect diners to the land while celebrating the hardworking hands that feed us. Together we gather at one long table to share the most fundamental and universal human conversation: a meal. Wherever we are, we collaborate with local chefs, farmers, and artisans to craft a unique and immersive experience that truly tells the story of its place. Hosted on Sundays from 4–7 pm in the heart of New Jersey’s countryside, Executive Chef Lance Knowling presents a Sunday Supper at Northridge featuring rustic, soulful dishes inspired by his Midwestern upbringing—all served on a property surrounded by 300 acres of farmland.
For the summer months, inn guests, locals and Bucks County visitors are invited to join us to enjoy this comforting experience outdoors on the courtyard patio or Northridge’s upper veranda, with sweeping views (weather permitting). Highlights of the Sunday Supper menu include: Kansas City BBQ Ribs, our House Burger, Grilled Fish Tacos, Country Buttermilk Fried Chicken, rotating desserts and more.
