ARB'S 'CINDERRELLA', New Brunswick Performing Arts Center

American Repertory Ballet (ARB) presents the World Premiere of Cinderella, the timeless fairytale of a young woman who rises above adversity to find hope, love, and her own happily-ever-after. Performances take place March 6–8, 2026 at the New Brunswick Performing Arts Center.

Audiences are invited into a world of enchantment as Cinderella’s Fairy Godmother alters her destiny, a Prince captures her heart, and kindness and courage prevail over cruelty. With choreography by Samantha Dunster, ARB’s recently appointed Artistic Director, this magical production features dazzling new sets and costumes, an international cast of professional artists, and 36 young students from Princeton Ballet School, the official school of American Repertory Ballet. A spellbinding experience for all ages, Cinderella is the outing for the whole family to enjoy!

Circus Quixote, McCarter Theatre

Cervantes’ classic is reimagined in a dazzling new production from the creators of McCarter audience favorites, Lookingglass Alice and Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein. Somewhere in La Mancha there lived a man who read so many books that his brains dried up…so he becomes a knight! As Don Quixote embarks on his impossible quest for justice, Lookingglass Theatre’s signature acrobatics, breathtaking visuals, and boundless imagination transport audiences into his wild, windmill-tilting world.

South Brunswick Jazz Café Concert – Kai Gibson Quintet

Kai Gibson is a bassist from Lawrenceville, NJ. He first began studying jazz with the Princeton Studio Band in high school and graduated Berklee College of Music in 2021. Kai has studied with musicians such as Billy Kilson, Linda May Oh, Bruce Gertz, John Lockwood, Danny "Mo" Morris and has shared the stage with musicians like Richie Cole, Randy Brecker, Phil Grenadier, Ralph Bowen, Steve Kramer, and many others. He plays jazz, rock, blues, bluegrass, gypsy-jazz and many of other styles of music across the tri-state area. Kai's recent projects have included recording a large catalogue of original fusion music with several bands of colleagues (releasing in 2026).
