Learn Mah Jongg, West Windsor Branch

Participants should register for all three sessions! The first session will entail identification of the 152 tiles, understanding the game rules, and the rules on the Mah Jongg Rules Card. Sessions two and three will be game-playing with questions being answered. We will be learning American Mah Jongg. Players will use the most recent National Mah Jongg League (NMJL) card and rules. Sponsored by the Friends of the West Windsor Library.

The evening's most powerful moment comes as Club teens take the stage to compete for 2026 Youth of the Year. Guests will have the unique opportunity to vote live and help select the winner—recognizing a young leader whose story brings the Club's impact to life. Early bird individual tickets are $200, with proceeds supporting high-quality afterschool programs, summer learning, workforce readiness, and mentorship opportunities.

Egg Decoration Workshop, Lawrence Library

Join local artist Andrew Carfaro for a festive egg decoration session on Thursday, March 5 at 6:30 pm at the Lawrence Headquarters Branch of the Mercer County Library System. A Princeton resident, chef, and winemaker, Andrew discovered egg art in 2017 and has since decorated thousands of real, hollowed eggs. His designs draw from the rich traditions of local ethnic communities, including Polish and Ukrainian styles. Come enjoy a relaxed, creative session and learn the beautiful techniques behind this unique craft. This program is for ages 14 and up. Advanced registration is appreciated for all events.
