Holiday Wreath Making Workshops, Morven Museum & Garden

Enjoy light refreshments as you create a unique holiday wreath for your home with your choice of ‘seasonal bling’ and natural accents from Morven’s historic gardens. No experience necessary! Morven’s horticulturalists will be on hand to guide participants. Includes admission to Festival of Trees on the day of the workshop!

Most suitable for ages 12+.

Date: Wed & Thu, December 3 & 4; choose an afternoon session (1-3 pm) or evening session (6-8 pm). Location: Morven Museum & Garden, 55 Stockton Street, Princeton, NJ 08540

Unveiling of a New Jersey Black Heritage Trail Marker, William Trent House

The Trent House Association is honored to be a site on the New Jersey Black Heritage Trail and invites all to attend the unveiling of the site marker on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at 3 pm. The Trent House is located at 15 Market Street in Trenton, across from the Hughes Justice Complex. The program is free and there is free parking in the lot behind the Trent House property. Following a dazzling season opener featuring choreographer Mark Morris and his dance company, Princeton University Concerts (PUC) continues its 2025–26 Music & Healing series with Mourning through Music — an evening of conversation and live performance exploring how music helps us navigate loss. The event will take place Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at 7:30PM in Richardson Auditorium, Alexander Hall, featuring world-renowned director Peter Sellars in conversation with Ara Guzelimian, interwoven with live music performed by violinist Keir GoGwilt.

Move over, London; Scrooge is spending Christmas in New Jersey! This fast, funny, and full-of-surprises reimagining of A Christmas Carol takes Dickens’ classic tale and gives it a fresh, local twist. Expect all the traditional ghosts—Past, Present, and Future—along with plenty of Garden State spirit, unexpected laughs, and a dash of holiday magic. Audiences of all ages will cheer Ebenezer Scrooge’s rediscovery of the Christmas spirit in this riotous Dickens mash-up filled with music and laughter. It doesn't matter how old you are or what exit you’re from, you'll find this high-energy holiday romp to be a Christmas celebration that’s as big, bold, and unforgettable as the great state of New Jersey!
