On November 17, 2025 The Women's College Club of the Princeton will meet 1 to 3 PM at Morven Museum Stockton Educational Center 55 Stockton ST. , Princeton NJ. This month Sandy Lanman will tell the story of the rescue of 1,300 mostly German Jews and the terrors they faced during Japanese rule in the Philippines. We will learn of the surprising role her grandmother played in the history of the period.
Sandy Lanman is an award-winning writer and public relations professional. She had been a staff writer for the Home News in New Brunswick, had worked as a public relations professional at the Crossroads Theatre as well as Rutgers University, and is on the Board of the East Brunswick Environmental Commission. In 2024 she presented at an international genealogy conference. Free and open to the public.
