The Old Barracks Museum is excited to host David Price, historical interpreter, writer, and speaker, for our upcoming Author Lecture at the Historic Trenton Masonic Temple. Join us in learning the how and why of Washington's victories at Trenton and Princeton in late 1776 and early 1777 during Price's presentation on his new book, "Winning the Ten Crucial Days: The Keys to Victory in George Washington's Legendary Winter Campaign."
Price spoke at the Old Barracks Museum in 2019, presenting on his book "The Road to Assunpink Creek: Liberty's Desperate Hour and the Ten Crucial Days of the American Revolution", and we are thrilled to have him join us again this fall. This event will take place on Thursday, October 2nd, at the Historic Trenton Masonic Temple. The lecture will begin at 6 pm, followed by a Q&A and book signing. Admission is free. Light refreshments will be available. Copies of these titles are available for purchase in-store or at www.barracks.org. All proceeds go towards supporting the Old Barracks Museum and its mission. Parking will be available next to the Old Barracks Museum. The Masonic Temple is located across the street from the museum at 100 Barrack St, Trenton, NJ 08608.

A McCarter World Premiere, thrillingly adapted from Lauren M. Gunderson’s acclaimed and award-winning worldwide hit, with an electrifying new score by Ari Afsar. See it here first. Caroline—stuck at home with an illness—and Anthony—an earnest overachiever toting Walt Whitman and waffle fries—are classmates pulling an unexpected all-nighter. What starts as a reluctant assignment soon sets both their worlds spinning into a soul-searching exploration of fate, friendship, and the fragile wonder of being alive. Gunderson’s award-winning play has been produced over 200 times and translated into fifteen languages, leaving audiences surprised, filled with hope, and proclaiming it a “must-see” theatrical experience for over a decade.
