Outdoor Yoga at Updike Farmstead with Gratitude Yoga

Wednesday June 4, 2025
6:00 PM - 7:00 PM

This June, we look forward to taking our practice outdoors to Historical Society of Princeton’s lovely Updike Farmstead on Quaker Road on Wednesdays at 6 pm on 6/4, 6/11, 6/18, and 6/25. Our donation-based all-levels Vinyasa Flow classes are open to all skill levels. We look forward to being together at the close of the day and lifting up our intentions. In the event of rain, we can take our yoga practice indoors into the property’s beautifully restored 18th century farmhouse overlooking the fields. Please use the paved driveway - not the gravel one- when entering from Quaker Road. Also, please bring along a yoga mat if you have one.

Mediterra: Prosecco Celebration

Wednesday June 4, 2025
6:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Celebrate National Prosecco Week (yes, it’s a real thing!) with us.

Prosecco is the most beloved sparkling wines in the world hailing from the north eastern corner of Italy near Venice, in an area spanning the Veneto and Friuli-Venezia Giulia. One of the biggest differences between Prosecco and other sparkling wines is how it’s made. Prosecco uses the “tank method” which enlists the use of some very high tech fermentation tanks. The tanks were first developed during the industrial era in the late 1800s and are capable of producing wines with up to 4 atmospheres of pressure! Join us for a festive, Prosecco-paired tapas and cicchetti event, the Italian way!

Princeton Ballet School Presents 'Swan Lake', McCarter Theatre

Wednesday June 4, 2025
6:30 PM

Experience the enchanting beauty of Swan Lake, a timeless tale of love, betrayal, and transformation, set to Tchaikovsky's unforgettable score. This adaptation, with choreography inspired by the 1895 revision of Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov, follows Prince Siegfried's journey as he meets Odette, a beautiful maiden who reveals that she and her companions are cursed by the sorcerer Rothbart to live as swans. As the story unfolds, Prince Siegfried is deceived by Rothbart's dark magic, leading to a heartbreaking betrayal. Under Rothbart's influence, Siegfried is tricked into pledging his love to Odile, thinking he is declaring his commitment to Odette. Filled with guilt, the prince races to make things right and save Odette. In our reimagined conclusion, the power of true love breaks the curse, freeing Odette and transforming the swans back into their human form forever.

This production of Swan Lake is made possible by the families, students, and the entire community that supports the dance education at Princeton Ballet School.
