Hailing from Kyiv, Ukraine, DakhaBrakha is a world music quartet known for its self-described “ethno-chaos” sound—a bold fusion of Ukrainian folk, global rhythms, and theatrical flair. With powerful, polyphonic vocals and instrumentation from India, Africa, the Middle East, and beyond, their performances are as visually striking as they are sonically mesmerizing. Formed at the DAKH Center for Contemporary Art by avant-garde theater director Vladyslav Troitskyi, DakhaBrakha offers a moving, modern celebration of culture and creativity that transcends borders.
