Shady Brook Farm


Shady Brook Farm, one of the last working farms in Bucks County is an enterprise growing acres of fruits & veggies, boasting a large Farm Market & Garden Center, and is well known for its seasonal events. The Farm Market is open all year and stocks farm grown produce, has a Deli, sells milk in glass bottles, gourmet cheese, specialty foods and more! The Market is also home to Uncle Dave’s Homemade Ice Cream and sells locally made Rose Bank Wines. The huge Nursery & Garden Center is the best place to find a wide variety of high quality plants, trees, shrubs, mulch, stone, garden tools, bird seed, and more. Terhune Orchards


Terhune Orchards is a 200-acre, family owned farm in just outside of Princeton. The Mount family has owned and operated it since 1975. Terhune Orchards is noted for its fresh, wholesome fruits, vegetables, flowers and herbs, growing 25 varieties of apples and over 35 different vegetable crops, Certified Organic and conventional. The farm store is stocked with homemade cookies, fruit breads, apple crisps, apple cider donuts and fresh squeezed apple cider. Take part in Pick-Your-Own offerings, farm festivals throughout the year and visit the barnyard of animals. The Watershed Institute


Hours: Dawn to dusk
The 860-acre Watershed Reserve in Hopewell NJ offers outdoor experiences for the entire family. Visitors can enjoy the animals and exhibits of the Buttinger Nature Center, the butterflies and garden habitats of the Kate Gorrie Butterfly House (in season), and more more than 10 miles of hiking trails. The Reserve is owned and managed by The Watershed Institute - central New Jersey's first environmental group. The Watershed Institute protects clean water and the environment throughout the 265-square-mile region of central New Jersey drained by the Stony Brook and Millstone River.
