Salisbury Summer School, founded in 1946, is a coed summer boarding school for students entering grades 7 through 12. Our five-week academic program builds and enriches student learning in Reading, Writing, Math, Environmental Science, ESL and Study Skills in a relaxed and supportive environment. A vibrant Residential Life Program and diverse afternoon and weekend activities complement the academic offerings. We offer tennis, golf, squash, soccer, hiking and much more. On weekends we travel to area attractions in Boston, New York and Newport, RI. Set amidst the Berkshire and Taconic Mountains on the 700-acre campus of Salisbury School, it is the ideal setting for a summer of challenge and fun.

Summer at Stuart offers a variety of day programs featuring academic >enrichment, arts, cultural and athletic programs as well as a play camp. >Before and after Camp activities are also available. Programs are open >to Stuart and non-Stuart students ranging from age 4 through high >school, depending on program. Programs are coeducational with the >exception of the athletics programs which are open to girls only. >Academic enrichment includes ESL courses August 17-21 9:00 to 3:00 p.m. > and August 24-28 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.

June 29th - July 31st (noon), Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Students, who need to study English, can enroll in The American Culture and Language Institute, a globally diverse program where learning English is the focus of classroom study and travel. In order to strengthen English skills and learn American history and culture, students enrolled in The American Culture and Language Institute travel to New York City, Philadelphia and Hershey, Pennsylvania, and Washington, D.C. during the five weeks. It is on these trips, along with recreational offerings, that their use of the English language gets a rigorous workout.
