Mercer Lake Sprints 2026

Join us April 18–19, 2026 for a premier spring regatta at beautiful Mercer Lake, this spring regatta brings together programs from across the region for a weekend of competitive, well-organized racing to showcase speed, depth, and development across programs. Registration will open on Saturday, February 28th at 8:00 AM. Events fill up quickly so please be sure to register early! Scratch Fees: there will be a $25 fee for each event scratched after April 1. Any entries that are scratched after the late registration deadline will be charged in full and not refunded. All entries must be paid in full before racing begins. Due to RegattaCentral's refund policy, credit card processing fees are non-refundable.

Parking Location: Park at Kingston Lock-tender's House at D&R Canal State Park, 4498 Route 27, Kingston NJ. Overflow parking available at John W. Flemer Preserve, 4621 Route 27 South, Kingston NJ.

KGA provides grabbers, gloves, orange vests, and garbage bags. Water for refills will be available. Please wear sturdy clothing and boots! https://kingstongreenways.org/

Third Annual Garden Retreat, Grounds for Sculpture

Unearthing a Story: James Garfield, Hopewell Library

Though his presidency was cut short by an assassin’s bullet, James A. Garfield left behind a remarkable collection of correspondence. Join us to help digitize these fascinating historical documents. Participants are encouraged to bring a laptop; a limited number are available on site. Unearthing a Story, One Page at a Time is a collaborative transcription series where volunteers convert historical documents into searchable digital text, supporting researchers, genealogists, and the preservation of history for future generations. Registration is requested.

SHRED Fest - Household Waste and Shredding Event

The Princeton community is invited to participate in the Household Waste and Shredding Event on Saturday, April 18. The event will take place at the Westminster Choir College Parking Lot (entrance on Franklin Avenue) from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., rain or shine. Sustainable Princeton will also be upcycling at this event; stop by their bright green tent to drop off small batteries, reusable shopping bags, cellphones, tablets, charging cables, Styrofoam blocks, and printer cartridges.
