The Mercer Indoor Challenge is an indoor erg racing event held at the Peddie School Athletic Center, bringing together teams, individuals, masters athletes, and cancer survivors for a meaningful day of competition and community. This event proudly raises funds for the Breast Cancer Research Center of Princeton (BCRC) and its partners at the Princeton YWCA, with all proceeds directly supporting research, education, and support services. Teams may register athletes in the 500-meter sprint, while individual entries are also welcome. Whether you are racing with a team, competing on your own, returning as a masters athlete, or rowing as a cancer survivor, this event is designed to be inclusive, supportive, and impactful. Join us on the erg to race with purpose, honor survivors, and support research—one stroke at a time.

Birds, Nesting and Birdhouses
Terhune Orchards’ Read and Explore Program is a winter education series designed to engage young learners through stories, hands-on activities, and seasonal farm learning. The program follows the popular Read and Pick Program offered during the growing season. This session focuses on birds as they prepare for spring and new families. The program lasts about an hour and includes a story and educational segment. After story time, each child will make their own birdhouse and get nesting materials to take home.
