"Men Without Shoes" Exhibit @Morven

Foundation Academies (FA) Charter School in Trenton, NJ is proud to partner with Princeton Battlefield Society and Morven Museum to unveil Men W/O Shoes—a powerful event shining a long overdue spotlight on Black soldiers in America's fight for freedom in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of Black History Month. Men W/O Shoes will be open to the public 5-7 pm Thursday Feb. 19 and 10 am - 4 pm Saturday Feb. 21, 2026 at Morven Museum, 55 Stockton St. Princeton, NJ.

Join us for Story & Versary, a special event celebrating 6 years of Story & Verse at the Arts Council of Princeton! DURING THIS FESTIVE OPEN MIC, WE WILL BE HOSTING A NO WHERE TO WEAR PARTY, WHERE YOU’RE INVITED TO SHOW OFF SOMETHING THAT’S BEEN NEGLECTED IN YOUR CLOSET. JOIN IN ON THE FUN WITH LIGHT REFRESHMENTS, POTLUCK, AND A CELEBRATION OF THE COMMUNITY WE’VE BUILT TOGETHER.

Story & Verse provides a warm and welcoming spotlight for both emerging and established artists in our Solley Theater, an intimate space in the heart of Downtown Princeton. Share your story, your poetry, or your prose, based on the monthly theme!

Join us as a performer: Prepare a story, poem, or spoken word piece up to 5 minutes in length and (at least loosely) related to the theme. This month’s theme is “Ta Da!” Arrive by 6:45pm to add your name to the hat. No previous experience or pre-registration necessary.

Fake It Till You Make It - Frauds and Fakes in Jewish History, Adath Israel
