Scholarship Test for students applying for Grade 9

All girls entering grade 9 in Fall of 2023 are invited to sit for the Villa Scholarship Test on October 15, 2022 with a make-up date of November 19, 2022. The cost of the test (the High School Placement Test, a national test) is $40 and parents will receive a copy of their daughter's score report. West Windsor Community Farmers' Market

It’s all about local food and seasonality at the West Windsor Farmers Market! This year’s season kicks off on May 7th and running every Saturday from 9:00am-1:00pm, the market will be filled with local farmers and artisan food producers, including a knife sharpener, all from within fifty miles of West Windsor to celebrate the bounty of New Jersey. This season’s roster includes nearly fifty farms and vendors, several with a rotating schedule, including a baker under the new NJ Cottage Rule.

Market held rain or shine in the lower Vaughn Lot of the Princeton Junction Train Station - ENTRANCE FROM 877 Alexander Road, free parking. NJ Transit bus 877 or Dinky and ½ mile walk to Vaughn Lot. Visit wwcfm.org or call 609-913-7581.

The WWCFM accepts SNAP/EBT and offers matching incentives towards fruit & vegetable purchases (up to $20 per market day). Stony Brook Walking Tour, Historical Society of Princeton

Before there was a "Princeton," Quaker families established a community on the fertile ground along Stony Brook. This part-lecture, part-2 mile hike explores the lives of the early settlers and the community they established, while following a portion of the trail George Washington took from Trenton to the Princeton Battlefield. Stops include the Stony Brook Meeting House and Burial Ground, walking a portion of the "hidden" back road into Princeton, and a view of the Battlefield.

Cooler weather, seating is inside our wine barn with firepits, outdoor heaters, and hot mulled wine. Tasting flights of Terhune favorite wines to sample are also available. All ages can have fun with s’mores and hot cocoa kits. Our Barn Door Café will have lunch fare, while cheese plates and chips & salsa baskets are available at the winery. Roots & Branches of the 20th Century Black Arts Movement: Paul, Ossie, and Alvin, Arts Council of Princeton

This presentation will elucidate how the iconic voice and presence of Paul Robeson influenced the artistry and storytelling of Ossie Davis and Alvin Ailey. Local artist Maya Bradley will perform interpretive dance alongside the lecture presentation of Dr. Joy Barnes-Johnson, Program Chair of the Paul Robeson House of Princeton and Princeton Public Schools Educator.
