Seniors and people with disabilities are warmly welcomed to a free, in?person 90?minute emergency preparedness training at the Lawrence Headquarters Branch of the Mercer County Library System on Friday, February 20 at 2:00 pm. The training is provided by the Progressive Center for Independent Living, supported by a grant through the NJ Department of Human Services. Trainers Gerald "Jerry" Carbone, Renee Pfaff, and Bill Donohue will guide participants in building a personalized "Go Kit," creating communication and evacuation plans, identifying community resources, and increasing confidence in navigating unexpected situations. These soldiers played important roles on both sides of the Revolution. Their goal is to share this information with everyone. The Indoor Auto Racing Championship Fueled by VP Racing Fuels brings together the greatest racers in the region to compete in auto racing events indoors. Events take place from December through February in arenas along the East Coast. Whereas most races take place on specific race tracks, the Indoor Auto Racing Championship events take place on the cement floor of the arena.
