West Windsor, NJ – Prepare your paddles for Aquatic Adventure Camp at Mercer County Park Marina in West Windsor. Campers ages 13-15 are invited to attend the kayaking program that offers daily quests on the lake followed by exploration and games.
"Aquatic Adventure Kayaking Camp is a unique offering in Mercer County and something we are proud to offer our young residents," said County Executive Dan Benson. "Lake Mercer is a treasure and this program is a way for our teens to enjoy the water during the heat of summer."
The camp is offered June 23-27 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Program tuition is $300 per week for Mercer County residents and $400 per week for all others. Each day will offer a kayak adventure, followed by exploration of the lake's ecology, and end with fun and games. Attendees must know how to swim in order to attend.
"Every year our campers smile from the moment they show up," remarked Director of Environmental Education Kelly Rypkema. "We can't wait to welcome our kayakers to the lake and launch them into this adventure."
