New Hope Celebrates’ LGBTQ+ History Month Featuring Pride, Parties, and the High Heel Drag Race
New Hope, PA: Get ready, New Hope and Lambertville, because New Hope Celebrates (NHC) is bringing the FABULOUS all month long with OUT in October 2025! This annual commemoration of LGBTQ+ History Month fills the Delaware River towns with events that honor history, celebrate community, and keep the Pride spirit alive throughout the year.
This October marks an important milestone, the 10th year that NHC has managed the iconic High Heel Drag Race. Since taking the reins in 2015, NHC has proudly grown this beloved tradition into one of the most anticipated events of the year, drawing a huge crowd to West Mechanic Street to cheer on the queens, kings, and all who dare to race in heels.
“OUT in October has always been about more than events – it’s about community, resilience, and Pride,” said Melissa Patterson, President of New Hope Celebrates. “The High Heel Drag Race is the grand finale that brings it all together, and as we celebrate this milestone year, we’re pulling out all the stops. Get ready for high heels, fabulous drag, and maybe a special surprise for this year’s spine-chilling theme, Nightmare on Mechanic Street.”
