The author talks about her new novel, "The Girl in the Green Dress," a historical mystery based on the real story of the unsolved deaths of Joseph Elwell and New Yorker writer Morris Markey.

Doors will open at 10:45 a.m. for coffee and pastries. The talk will begin at 11 a.m. Registration requested to help plan for brunch, but it is not required in order to attend.

Gilmore Girls 25th Anniversary Party, Princeton Public Library

It's been 25 years since we first met Lorelai and Rory Gilmore—and we're celebrating Stars Hollow-style! Join us for a fun afternoon as we mark the anniversary of the airing of the first episode of "Gilmore Girls." We'll kick things off with a screening of the pilot episode, complete with iconic snacks inspired by the show—Red Vines, donuts, coffee (of course!), potato chips and popcorn. Afterward, test your Gilmore knowledge in a fun trivia contest with prizes for the top fans. Plus, create a themed take-home craft to commemorate the occasion. Whether you're a longtime fan or just discovering the charm of Stars Hollow and all of its residents, this event is for you. Bring a friend, wear your favorite flannel, and prepare to talk fast! Open to all ages. Registration encouraged.
