January 9, 2026 – The Hopewell Harvest Fair Board of Trustees is pleased to announce that they distributed grants to 22 local nonprofits organizations at its annual Grant Ceremony. Since its inception in 1987, the Hopewell Harvest Fair has dispersed more than $200,000 in grant funding to nonprofit groups working in the Hopewell Valley.
Thanks to the hard work of the all-volunteer 2025 Planning Committee and the generosity of local business sponsors, this year the Harvest Fair was able to distribute $9,000 to worthy local causes. "The Hopewell Harvest Fair is all about community. On the day of the Fair, we bring thousands of residents together for a day of family fun, and the proceeds from the event are invested back into the community through our grants." said Harvest Fair Board of Trustees, President Scott Fulmer. "We are grateful to all Fair patrons and our generous sponsors for helping us fulfill our mission of community-building. And a heartfelt thank-you to our volunteers, led by the amazing Darlene Walsh, who were able to engage more residents and businesses than ever for a super-successful Fair in every aspect!"
This year's grant recipients include 22 organizations that work on a variety of issues, including youth, the arts, children with special needs, and more. Grants were distributed to: Attitudes In Reverse, Bear Tavern PTO, Central Jersey Choral Society, D&R Greenway Land Trust, Down Syndrome Association of Central New Jersey, HomeFront, Hopewell Elementary School, Hopewell Public Library, Hopewell Valley Central High School, Hopewell Valley Chorus, Hopewell Valley Girl Scouts, Hopewell Valley Historical Society, Hopewell Valley Youth Collective, I Support the Girls Central/South New Jersey, PALS (Pennington Adult Living Services), Princeton Friends School, Scouting America, Troop 71 - Hopewell, Sourland Conservancy, St Matthews Church Handbell Choir (Heavy Metal), The Chubby's Project, The Hopewell Quarry/ Friends of Hopewell Quarry, Younity (formerly Womanspace).
