The Mercer Indoor Challenge is an indoor erg racing event held at the Peddie School Athletic Center, bringing together teams, individuals, masters athletes, and cancer survivors for a meaningful day of competition and community. This event proudly raises funds for the Breast Cancer Research Center of Princeton (BCRC) and its partners at the Princeton YWCA, with all proceeds directly supporting research, education, and support services. Teams may register athletes in the 500-meter sprint, while individual entries are also welcome. Whether you are racing with a team, competing on your own, returning as a masters athlete, or rowing as a cancer survivor, this event is designed to be inclusive, supportive, and impactful. Join us on the erg to race with purpose, honor survivors, and support research—one stroke at a time.

Come dressed as a fairy or other mythical creature. We estimate it takes about an hour to do all the stations. Please plan to arrive between 11 am-12 pm to get the most out of the event!

The Trent House in collaboration with the Trenton Puerto Rican Community & Friends organization and others is organizing a program of free demonstrations, workshops, presentations, and an exhibition during March 2026 on the theme of Fabric, Stories, & Memory. Most events will be at the William Trent House Museum, 15 Market Street in Trenton, New Jersey, located across William Trent Place from the Hughes Justice Complex. Free parking is available off William Trent Place behind the Museum property.
Fabric, Stories, & Memory will celebrate the long history of our city, state, and nation of embracing, preserving, and building on the material culture of the many groups who have enriched our country. Visitors can view the exhibition in the historic house of garments and other textiles from Latino, Liberian, and Ukrainian cultures as well as contemporary fabric art from March 8 through March 28. Fabric artists will offer hands-on workshops using fabric to create personal memory books or a collective artwork. A technique for creating two- and three-dimensional pieces from wool will be demonstrated and three illustrated talks describing traditional and modern ways fabric is used to tell and remember stories will be given.
