Maud Dahme was four years old when the Nazis invaded the Netherlands in 1940. Through a secret network organized by the Dutch Resistance, she went into hiding and made it out of the war alive. Eventually, she would immigrate to the United States, where she would go on to live a life of accomplishment and giving. Initially reluctant to speak about her journey, May now addressed audiences all over the world, and has received a multitude of honors and recognitions, including induction into the New Jersey Hall of Fame, bestowed of the title of Knight by the King of Netherlands, and appointment to the position of President of the NJ State Board of Education.
Please join us as we welcome Maud to Princeton to hear her story and learn about her remarkable life. Student, parents and community members are all welcome! The even will run from 7-8:30pm
