Fall Family Fun Weekends, Terhune's

Celebrate the season at Terhune Orchards with a day full of family fun on the farm! Each weekend offers more than 30 festive activities and attractions for all ages.

Come early for free Wagon Rides (10am-1pm) and stay for toe-tapping Live Music (12-4pm). Apple Fresh: Pam’s Food Pavilion is filled with country fare, famous cider donuts, fresh apple cider, pie and so much more. Wine Orchard: In our 100 year historic apple orchard, enjoy a tasting flight or a glass of red, white, or fruit-based estate wines made from our own grapes and fruit.. Winery: For weekend entry, admission tickets must be purchased. Tickets are required for adults and children ages 3 years and up. Entry is free for children under 3.

Amazing Pumpkin Carve, Woolsey Park

The Hopewell Valley Arts Council invites the community to celebrate a decade?plus of fall fun at the 11th Annual Amazing Pumpkin Carve, returning to Woolsey Park, October 9–12, 2025. Under the glow of a big top tent, 30 massive, 150?pound pumpkins will be transformed by local artists into jaw?dropping works of art—whimsical, spooky, and everything in between. Rain or shine, visitors can stroll through the tent to see the incredible displays, making the Carve a perfect autumn outing for families, friends, and neighbors.

New this year: Guests can sip local brews in the beer garden while enjoying live music at the Woolsey Park bandshell (Friday–Sunday, weather permitting). The festival also features a hay bale play area, pumpkin painting for kids, and storytelling by the firepits, creating a full weekend of fall festivities.

Spend an Enchanted Evening (or afternoon) with The MTM Players as they whisk you away to The South Pacific with this beloved Rodgers & Hammerstein classic featuring Bali Hai, Younger Than Springtime, You Have to Be Taught, I’m in Love with a Wonderful Guy, and of course Some Enchanted Evening. Based on the anecdotes of a real-life U.S. Navy commander who was stationed on an island, South Pacific follows two intercultural love stories: Nellie, a spunky Navy nurse from Arkansas, and Lieutenant Cable who both find themselves struggling to reconcile their own cultural prejudices with their amorous feelings, all while under the dark cloud of a war that is coming ever closer to their island paradise.

Giselle, American Repertory Ballet, New Brunswick Performing Arts Center

American Repertory Ballet’s 2025/26 season opens with the highly anticipated return of Ethan Stiefel and Johan Kobborg’s acclaimed adaptation of GISELLE. A haunting tale of love, betrayal, and the supernatural, GISELLE tells the story of a young woman who dies of a broken heart—only to forgive her beloved from beyond the grave. Featuring emotionally powerful and technically stunning performances, this moving production had its world premiere at the Royal New Zealand Ballet in 2012 and has since captivated audiences around the world, including at its ARB Company Premiere at NBPAC in 2023. Step into the Halloween spirit with this hauntingly beautiful ballet!

Tickets for GISELLE range from $42 to $72, not including additional 4% NBPAC Ticket Fee. *Post-Show Reception ($50 add-on to ticket purchase) with ARB Dancers, artistic leadership, and VIPs immediately following the performance. Light bites and beverages will be served.

The Arts Council Beyond Princeton: Work from Barbara DiLorenzo’s Online Students from 2020-2025 will be on view in the Lower Level Gallery October 11–November 8. When the COVID-19 pandemic forced the Arts Council to quickly transition from in-person to online classes in March 2020, a new artistic community was born. This exhibition is a celebration of the artwork produced in this unique environment. Learn more.
