message focusing on an experience of Jesus’ crisis and rejection in his
hometown and his response as found in Mark 6:1-13. The title of the
sermon is “Living Your Truth”. We will also celebrate the sacrament
of infant baptism. |

around Amos 7:7-15 as the pastor speaks about “God’s Plumb Line”.
God calls us to look again at the crooked corners and tilted houses we
live in and offers the power of realignment. |

is the title of the pastor’s sermon as we look together at David’s desire
to put God into a house he would build. Where is the place we seek
to find God? Where in your life does God dwell? |

“Letting God Be God” is the title of the pastor’s sermon as we look
together at John 6:1-21 and the pastor reflects on the times in our lives
when we go after God, but God seems to be so distant. |

“Give Us Lord Our Daily Bread” will be the focus of this worship service
as we celebrate the Sacrament of Communion. The focus text for worship
is John 6:25-35. It is God who gives life to all things and calls
us to receive the Life he gives. |

“Dealing With Anger” will be the title of the morning message by the
pastor as we look together at Paul’s words, “Be angry but do not sin.
Do not let the sun go down on your anger.” How do you handle anger? |
August 20

“Forgiving One Another” is the topic of the morning message as we together
reflect on Ephesians 4:31-32. “Get rid of all bitterness, rage, and
anger, bawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind
and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as Christ
in God forgives you.” Is forgiveness something that comes easy to
you? |

“The Transformation of Thankfulness” will be the focus of the pastor’s
sermon as we focus on the challenging words of Paul, (Ephesians 5:20).
“Always give thanks to God the Father for everything in the name of our
Lord, Jesus Christ. |
