Meet Our High
School Graduates
Robert Brezak
Extra-curricular activities include Environmental Club, Rotary
Interact Club, Math Team, and Boy Scouts. Tutor at Fisher Middle
School. He was also a member of the National Honor Society and a
recipient of the Bloustein Scholar Award, Salutatorian for the Class of
2000. He earned the rank of Eagle Scout, played soccer for the West
End Soccer League. His artwork was exhibited at the College of New
Jersey and the Ellarsie Museum. He plans to attend Cornell University
and major in Biology.
Kevin Dougherty
Graduated from Ewing High where he was a member of the varsity
soccer team, the Computer Club, and SADD. He will be attending Mercer
County Community College in the fall where he plans to begin studying Radio/TV/Film
Production. Kevin currently works at Video Update in Ewing.
He attended Montreat the past two years with the youth group and thoroughly
enjoyed it.
Amanda Thackray
Amanda was baptized and attended Sunday school at Covenant.
She graduated from Ewing High School, a two-year member of the National
Honor Society. She has received the Outstanding Scholar Award Scholarship
from Rutgers University. In the fall she plans to attend Mason
Gross School of Arts at Rutgers University majoring in graphic design and
illustration. Amanda thanks the people of her church and her
community. College will be a challenge, but with her Christian faith
and the love of her church, she knows she will succeed.
Brian Volz
Brian was baptized in Covenant Church in 1982 and joined Covenant
in 1997. Brian has graduated with honors from the Hun School of Princeton.
He was a member of the varsity football, baseball and wrestling teams and
student director of the Hun School Jazz Ensemble where he played the saxophone.
He will be attending Carenegie Mellon University in the fall and studying
Business.
Jason Todd Young
Graduated from the Pennington School. Extremely active
in sports programs, he enjoyed basketball and tennis while excelling in
soccer as a four-year varsity player and was named the Times of Trenton
“All Prep Player of the Year”. He will begin his college career at
Mercer County Community College with plans of transferring to the Rider
University Communications Program, with dreams of becoming an ESPN sports
announcer. His best memories of Covenant include two trips to Montreat,
youth group activities, especially the scavenger hunts.
