There will be a gathering of seekers in the lounge on the 2nd and 4th Thursday evenings in July on the 13th and 27th from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on the 2nd and 4th Thursday evening in August on the 10th and 24th from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. to listen and reflect together on a selected scripture passage using an ancient process called Lectio Divina under the guidance of the pastor.     

     The art of lectio begins with cultivating the ability to listen deeply, to hear “with the ear of our hearts.”  Jesus often ended his teachings and parables by saying, “Those who have ears let them hear.”  This is not a bible study, but rather a time of attention listening to hear a word of phrase that is God’s word for us on this day.  

     Everyone is welcome to join others in learning this spiritual practice that will open the scriptures to you in a deep and meaningful way.
