Quarantine and Isolation Guidelines Person wearing a mask If you test positive for COVID-19, you should stay home and isolate for 5 days. If you have no symptoms or your symptoms are resolving after 5 days, you can leave your house but should continue to wear a mask around others for 5 additional days. If you have a fever, continue to stay home until your fever resolves. Morven's Grand Homes & Gardens Distinguished Speakers Series returns with another stellar lineup. This year, we armchair travel to the Roaring 20's starting at Innisfree in New York, then on to Swan House in Georgia, down to Ca' D'Zan on Florida's west coast, and then arriving finally in Miami's Vizcaya. This series has something for everyone, and features each week's presenter on-site at their respective location with both an in-person, limited capacity "watch party" in Morven's Stockton Education Center, adjacent to the Museum, as well as virtual viewing options and recordings for all ticket holders. 2/5 – Princeton University Art Opening Celebration – “Native America” – Art on Hulfish, 1-4pm., Celebrate the opening of Native America: In Translation, curated by Wendy Red Star. The exhibition considers the wide-ranging work of photographers and lens-based artists who pose challenging questions about land rights, identity and heritage, and histories of colonialism. 2/6 – Princeton History Walking Tour, Historical Society of Princeton, 2-3:30pm., Enjoy a 90-minute walk around downtown Princeton and the University campus as you learn about historic sites in the area, including Bainbridge House, Nassau Hall, the University Chapel and Palmer Square. The early history of Princeton, the founding of the University, and the American Revolution are just some of the stories from Princeton’s history that you will learn on your tour. Tickets are $10. 2/7 – Autism Diagnosis and Intervention, Penn Medicine, 6-7pm., Click here to learn more or to register. This informative program is an opportunity for parents, caretakers, and educators to learn more about this disorder, including the importance of early screening and diagnosis to improve the outcomes for children with autism. Learn about interventions and therapies as well as local resources with Katherine Doyle, MD, board certified in pediatrics. 2/17 – PU Classic Concert Series, Takács String Quartet& Julien Labro, Bandoneón/Accordina, 7:30pm., The beloved quartet returns for its 22nd appearance on PUC's series with a fellow familiar face—dazzling accordionist and bandoneón virtuoso Julien Labro. Together, they herald the next chapter in Princeton University Concerts' 129-year history with newly commissioned works by Brazilian-American composer Clarice Assad and Grammy-winner (and The National rock band guitarist!) 2/18 – Story & Verse: A Storytelling and Poetic Open Mic, ACP, 7pm., Enjoy an evening of community-created entertainment in the form of storytelling and poetic open mic. All are welcome to tell a well-prepared story or perform their poetry. Each month, we’ll be inviting inspiration from a well-known song title. Performers are invited to interpret the theme as broadly as they wish and must bring their own work inspired by this month’s theme: Love and Lessons. more info

2/19 – Maple Sugaring, Howell Farm, 10-4pm. The time of freezing nights and thawing days has come...and the smell of maple syrup is in the air! Help farmers collect sap in the woods, make syrup in the sap house, and taste whole wheat pancakes after a quick visit to the farmhouse kitchen. Lunch will also be available for purchase. Visitors can also learn how to bring the operation into their own backyards, with tree tapping demonstrations at 10:30, 11:00, 11:30, 12:00, 12:30, 1:00, 1:30, 2:00, 2:30, and 3:00. Dress for the job: the work has sweet rewards, but it can be muddy, icy, and windy in the sugar bush. 2/22 – Preventing Digital Theft, Princeton Public Library, 2-3:30pm., From protecting your cellphone and choosing good passwords to browsing the web safely and securing your home wireless network, attendees will learn how to protect themselves digitally and online. 2/23– HiTOPS Queer Authors Reading Group, 7pm., Open to all Millennial and older Gen Z young folks, the Queer Authors Reading Group is an informal gathering intended to explore the works of queer storytellers in an encouraging and relaxed setting. Come prepared to share your thoughts, listen to others, and enjoy yourself among friends! The group will be facilitated by HiTOPS volunteer and queer lit enthusiast, Erin Flaherty.
