Description: MOB is designed to promote leader- ship, teamwork, and entrepreneur- ship among students through the creation and execution of student- run businesses. Currently active at Holland Middle School through a school-based team mentoring model.

Minding Our Business Summer Program
Time: Summer
Head: Dr. Sigfredo Hernandez, Project Director
Description: MOB's summer program recruits from Holland Middle and other schools for a three-day training session in practical entrepreneurship, then a field trip to buy supplies at wholesale market. Students then set up small "businesses" on Saturdays in the West Ward Flea Market and meet weekly for support sessions.
