Princeton Farmers’ Market summer market season will take place at the Dinky Train Station parking lot (adjacent to Princeton Wawa) and will run from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., on Thursdays through November 17. The market will be accepting SNAP/EBT, and thanks to the Good Food Bucks program they will match eligible customers SNAP transactions up to $10 per market day! Live Music Meditation, PU Concerts

Breathe in sound and silence through guided meditation as you listen to music more viscerally than ever before, meditating to the playing of PUC fan-favorite violinist Alexi Kenney. No prior meditation experience necessary. *Capacity is limited; early arrival is suggested. Meditation instruction will begin at 12PM (noon). Doors will close once capacity is reached.

On Stage Seniors Info Session, PSRC

What is OnStage Seniors?

OnStage is a documentary theater ensemble of older adults. Formerly associated with McCarter Theater and now happily a part of PSRC, OnStage classes are a mixture of acting and improvisation experiences culminating in spring performances at various venues throughout the community. OnStage Seniors welcomes new members. Interested participants are required to attend the free September 29 introductory class to meet the director, Josh Schnetzer, and the other ensemble members.

If selected, participants will be invited to join OnStage Seniors. OnStage Seniors meets on Thursdays, 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., beginning October 6 through December 8 (no class on 11/24) and February 2 through May 25 (no class on 4/6). The yearlong fee is $360.00 (less than $14.00 per class) and will be held in-person at PSRC’s Suzanne Patterson Building. Space is limited to 15 participants with a minimum of 12. A year’s commitment is required.

Art Museums on the Verge: Christopher Knight

Christopher Knight, art critic for the Los Angeles Times, will deliver this year's annual Mary Pitcairn Keating Lecture. Museums have always been under stress, Knight argues—but never more than they are today. Knight, winner of the Pulitzer Prize for Criticism, offers a view of where museums are now, why, and where they might be headed. Reception to follow. Details here.


NJ Council for the Humanities 50th Anniversary Gala

The New Jersey Council for the Humanities is thrilled to be celebrating its 50th Anniversary, and would like you to join us for the celebration! Please save the date for the gala, which will be held at Morven Museum and Garden in Princeton on September 29, 2022.

The event will begin with a cocktail reception at 6 PM and seated dinner at 7 PM, will include music, a "humanities moment" with renowned poet Evie Shockley, and the presentation of the inaugural Stanley N. Katz Prize for Excellence in the Public Humanities.

Consider this a judgement free zone to share and learn from each other. WWA seeks to build artist to artist relationships, creating a positive and supportive environment for all.
