Join Washington Crossing Audubon Society at 8:30 AM on Sunday June 5 for a free guided walk led by Franta Broulik, Jim Myers and Gretchen Bruxton at Washington Crossing State Park, NJ. We will walk the trails looking for late spring migrants and resident breeding birds in wooded areas as well as the adjacent meadows and grasslands. Hunterdon Land Trust Farmers’ Market

Hunterdon Land Trust opens a new Farmers’ Market season Sunday, May 15 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the historic Dvoor Farm, 111 Mine St. in Flemington. The producers’-only market will run every Sunday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. through Nov. 20. Shoppers will find organic fruits and vegetables, all-natural meats, fresh-baked breads, cave-ripened cheeses, honey, pies, plants, locally roasted coffee, milk, eggs and more. About 20 farmers and vendors will participate in the market this season.

Most farmers accept credit cards. Parking is free and easily accessible

Meet us in front of the second parking lot by the Nelson House, on River Drive. All levels are welcome, including absolute beginners. Led by Christa Eastgate, E-RYT 200, PRYT. Bring a mat or towel and any props you enjoy, and wear comfy clothes! Find us on River Drive in the lower park on Sunday mornings at 9:30 am, in front of the main parking lot. Classes are free, however donations are deeply appreciated!

Good Grief's 2022 5K Run & Walk is Sunday, June 5th, at Giralda Farms in Madison, NJ. We are so excited to gather for this important date on the Good Grief calendar. Join in with your family, friends, and community as we walk and run to raise funds and awareness for everyone who is grieving. The day provides an opportunity for you to walk or run in memory of a person who has died.

Please register online by June 1st to ensure you secure your space for the 5K and to receive your event day t-shirt when you arrive on Sunday. We will only be accepting a limited number of onsite registrations.

Historical Festival, The Bridge Academy

Learn about local history and participate in family activities and games at The Bridge to the American Revolution Historical Festival on Sunday, June 5th 2:00 – 4:30 p.m. The festival is hosted by The Bridge Academy and will be held on the school property at 1900 Lawrenceville Road. This is a free event and open to the public.

Learn about an important historical battle that took place on The Bridge Academy's school property that was instrumental to the outcome of the Revolutionary Way. Visitors will be able to participate in family activities and games, observe war reenactors, and meet Colonel Edward Hand (as portrayed by local historian William Agress). Campus Collections Outdoor Walking Tour, Princeton University Art Museum

Princeton University is home to one of the country's most significant collections of twentieth- and twenty-first-century public sculpture. Join a guided walking tour of the campus collections with an Art Museum docent and discover a variety of artworks by modern and contemporary sculptors, from Henry Moore to Louise Nevelson. Learn about materials and techniques and explore elements of design and balance.

Tours meet at 2 p.m. each Saturday and Sunday through June 26, except May 21–22. These one-hour tours are held outdoors, rain or shine, and are stair-free.

Princeton History Walking Tour, Historical Society of Princeton

Enjoy a walk around downtown Princeton and the University campus as you learn about historic sites in the area, including Bainbridge House, Nassau Hall, University Chapel and Palmer Square. Hear some of the classic history and lesser-known stories of Princeton’s diverse past.

Tickets are $10. Advance purchase is required. Tour starts in the courtyard of the Princeton Battle Monument (GPS address: 1 Monument Drive). Please note: Space on this tour is limited to 20 participants. Due to limited tour size, we cannot accommodate last minute add-ons at the start of the tour. Given this is an outdoor tour, masks are optional. If participants have experienced any COVID-19 symptoms within 14 days of the tour, we ask that they stay home and contact us for a full refund.

In a concert called "From Clare to Here" Fiona Tyndall, Ben Steinfeld and guest artists will perform traditional Celtic songs and some well known cover songs from both sides of the Atlantic. Fiona Tyndall is a recording artist and vocalist focused on traditional language culture and song. Ben Steinfeld is an actor, director, writer, musician, and adjunct professor and artistic associate at NYU-Gallatin. In the event of rain, the concert will move inside to the Community Room.


"A Concerto Extravaganza!", Bravura Philharmonic Orchestra

The award-winning Bravura Philharmonic Orchestra will present its 2021-22 Season Finale, "A Concerto Extravaganza!" on Sunday, June 5, 2022 at 7 pm, at the Princeton Alliance Church at 20 Schalks Crossing Road, Plainsboro, NJ, 08536, at the intersection with Scudders Mill Road. The concert will be conducted by its director, Chiu-Tze Lin. It will feature the winners of the 2022 Young Artists Competition, sponsored by the Bravura Philharmonic Orchestra. They are pianists Yidi Ding and Christopher Shin, cellist Evelyn Joung, and violinist Joshua Song. These young soloists were selected in late April from nearly fifty contestants, representing ten states across the country.

General admission prices are $20 and $18 for seniors and students. Premium seating is available at $30 each.
