Stony Brook Walking Tour, Historical Society of Princeton

Before there was a "Princeton," six Quaker families established a community on the fertile ground along Stony Brook. This 2-mile hike explores the lives of the early settlers and the community they established, while following a portion of the trail George Washington took from Trenton to the Princeton Battlefield. Stops include the Stony Brook Meeting House and Burial Ground, walking a portion of the "hidden" back road into Princeton, and a view of the Battlefield. Register. $10. Masks required for indoor portions of tour.

If he can’t buy her love, then he’ll force her to marry him by threatening to foreclose on her mother, the poor Widow Piper. Mary already has her heart set on marrying Barnaby’s nephew Alan — but Barnaby hasn’t given up, and he herds the whole gang of Mother Goose Land characters to Toyland in pursuit of Mary. There, we encounter the magical mystery of Toyland as we meet the Master Toymaker and his quirky assistants Grumio and Marmaduke.

The public is invited to join a special walking tour on Saturday, December 11, from 12:00 - 3:00 p.m. The tour will begin at the Arts Council of Princeton and end with a reception at Studio Hillier located at 190 Witherspoon Street.

Alcohol Ink Ornaments Workshop, Whole World Arts

Anyone can create colorful abstract paintings using brilliant alcohol inks! Participants will be given Yupo paper and 2 mini ornament frames. These unique paintings are perfect for the holidays or as tiny original art for your walls. All art materials will be provided. Please wear a protective apron or wear old clothes as alcohol ink stains. Materials fee of $10 to be paid to the teaching artist at the start of the workshop.

A Christmas Carol PRESENTED BY: Passage Theatre at Mill Hill

This unique adaptation of the classic story uses only two actors, one playing Scrooge, the other playing Charles Dickens. Dickens then transforms himself into all of the other characters, interacting with Scrooge while also conjuring up each new scene.

Westminster Choir College of Rider University's popular holiday concert returns with an evening of holiday music and readings featuring performances by Westminster's choirs and Solid Brass.

Princeton University requires all individuals entering the Princeton University Chapel to sign a form attesting that they are fully vaccinated for Covid-19, and they must be masked at all times. Individuals under the age of 12 are not permitted to enter the chapel at this time. If you plan to attend the concert, please DOWNLOAD the Vaccination Attestation Form (PDF). Bring the completed form with you to the performance. Each individual attending the concert must bring a completed form.

Since 2016, each holiday season, The Zmed Brothers along with their partner Burleigh Drummond have crafted a delightfully joyous multimedia Christmas show celebrating holiday standards from the 50’s and 60’s paired alongside the pivotal music and history of The Everly Brothers. The Zmed’s say, “The music of the 50’s and 60’s is deeply nostalgic for us, our parents raised us on it.. especially every Christmas. The holidays are the greatest time to come together, share stories, sing songs, and be merry and our aim with our Everly Brothers Christmas Show is to do just that.”

Our incredibly talented students were paired with a survivor or witness to that day's tragic events twenty years ago to hear, record and perform their story in this moving piece of a documentary theatre created especially for Mercer County residents. We at the college believe it’s important for students and audiences alike to have a first-hand account of that monumental day in our history twenty years ago.
