First Annual USATT New Jersey State Qualification Tournament

Princeton Pong is set to host the First Annual USATT New Jersey State Qualification Tournament! Over 20 different events to choose from with ALL 1st Place Winners receiving an automatic bid into the Main Draw at US Nationals in July. Youth Fishing in our Parks, Mercer Parks

Join us for a morning of fishing at one of our ‘fishing holes.’ Designed for beginners, we’ll provide the instruction and the equipment. Participants age 16 and up must have a current state fishing license. To register, click here.

Grover Park Cleanup

Volunteer on Saturday, April 17 at Grover Park in Princeton to help remove trash, litter and debris from local rivers and streams as part of the Watershed Institute’s 15th Annual Stream Cleanup. Over the past decade, these efforts have helped remove more than 122,000 pounds of garbage with the help of 6,300 enthusiastic volunteers. Take home a Watershed Stream Cleanup t-shirt as a memento. Register online by April 16 for either a 9:00 a.m. or 10:00 a.m. start. "Virtual" stream cleanups are also available.


Permit Parking Task Force Community Meeting

Residents and local business owners are invited to join Council President Leticia Fraga and Council members David Cohen and Michelle Pirone-Lambros for a virtual meeting of the Permit Parking Task Force on Saturday, April 17 at 9:00 a.m. The Task Force will review options for a planned pilot program to address parking needs of residents, employees of local business, and visitors. Knowing Native Plants: Spring Ephemerals and other Fleeting Flora, Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve

Spring wildflowers such as Dutchman’s breeches, bloodroot, Virginia bluebells, spring beauty, twinleaf and several species of trillium color the forest floor for a fleeting moment this time of year. Join Naturalist Mary Anne Borge to discover why these wildflowers are called spring ephemerals and learn more about their life cycles and the animals that disperse their seeds and help with pollination. Wacky Science Live Event, New Jersey State Museum

West Windsor Winter Farmers Market

The popular West Windsor Farmers Market winter season begins December 5th and runs every first and third Saturday until the end of April.

MarketFair’s outdoor lot looks to be a wonderful setting for some of the finest New Jersey’s farms and vendors. Market hours 10am-1pm with plenty of free parking. As with the summer/fall markets, organizers are creating a safe and comfortable shopping experience for area residents including a mask/face covering requirement for everyone on site, hand washing/sanitation stations, and pre-ordering options.

MarketFair is located at 3535 US-1 in West Windsor/Princeton. The outdoor market series will be held on the Meadow Road side of the mall’s parking lot.

Spring Clean Up, Princeton Battlefield State Park

Clip, cut, rake, pick up. What a great way to welcome Spring, to enjoy the out-of-doors, and to contribute to everyone’s Park. Our annual Clean Up Day is held in conjunction with the American Battlefield Trust which is distributing a free National Park Day water bottle. We also have bottled water and snacks for you. Garden tools and gloves are available, but we encourage you to to bring your own.
