The Pennington Farmers Market is open Saturdays 9-1, June-November on the lawn at Rosedale Mills (101 Route 31 North in Hopewell Township). National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day
Mercer County Sheriff Jack Kemler announces the opportunity to dispose of unneeded and expired prescription drugs during the National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day this SATURDAY, OCTOBER 24. The goal is to help local residents to rid their medicine cabinets of unused and easily abused opioid painkillers, in addition to any other unneeded prescription medications. Mercer County residents can easily drop off unused and expired prescription pills, by bringing them to the parking lot across from the Mercer County Administration Building at 640 South Broad Street in Trenton, between 10:00 A.M. and 2:00 P.M. The disposal event will also collect vape pens and other e-cigarette devices, however ONLY after all batteries have been removed prior by the individual. Syringes, sharp instruments, liquid medications, or solutions cannot be accepted. Participants in the drive up/drop-off are asked to follow social distancing rules.

Day of the Dead Creative Workshop, Arts Council of Princeton
Sugar Skulls Everyone loves making and decorating sugar skulls for Day of the Dead. In our previous festivals we have made hundreds! On Saturday, October 24 learn how to mix the sugar with meringue powder to pack into a traditional mold. Royal icings are used to embellish your skull which is typically placed on the altar, or ofrenda. Wear clothing you won't mind getting messy, and see how magical a sugar skull can be! Please note: students will need to bring their own mixing bowl and spatula.
