Friday November 8, 2019
12:00 PM - 2:00 PM

Please join the YWCA Princeton Area Newcomers and Friends this month to celebrate the season of Thanksgiving. Our presentation will be Pilgrims the Full Story. Our presenter, Trish Chambers, has a unique and energetic presentation style where she combines humor and realism in presenting her topic. Trish has appeared on TV for the History Channel, on radio, and in the movie Gods and Generals. She is also the author of two non-fiction books. Her Thanksgiving presentation will answer such questions as who the Pilgrims were and how did they establish the colony that is the foundation for the "New World." It is the story of how the pilgrims established a 50-year relationship with the Native Americans who helped the pilgrims survive and prosper. The presentation is performed in period costume with artifacts representing the period. Hear about the myths and facts that are associated with this great American holiday and the unique people who founded our traditions. Friday with Friends is held on the SECOND FRIDAY of each month from 12:00pm to 2:00pm during September – June.

YWCA Princeton NJ, Friday, November 8, 12:00-2:00p.m., $10 for lunch.
