When it premiered in 1664, Moliere's classic satire of lust, deceit and false piety was denounced as a sacrilegious outrage and banned from further public view. So naturally, Kelsey Theatre and the award-winning team at PinnWorth Productions couldn’t resist bringing this 355-year-old comedy into the present day and current political climate for an evening of deliciously saterical fun.

Members of the community gathered together for the common and joyful enterprise of making music, to sing through for their own pleasure the great works in choral literature, with chorus, orchestra, and soloists as the works require. The meetings are informal readings in which any musically interested person may join the chorus. There are no separate rehearsals and no auditions. Conductors usually do some preparation with the chorus before the sing-through. This varies from minimal snatches for well-known pieces to a complete review for unfamiliar works. The evening showcases the land trust’s newest TravelStorys mobile app. The tour activates smartphones at twenty points of historic and natural interest upon St. Michaels preserve trails. Guests are asked to enter off Hopewell’s Princeton Avenue and park near and gather at the restored barn. Suggested donation is $30 per family or $15 per person and includes the guided tour and refreshments from the Boro Bean, Hopewell.
