Princeton Public Library, 65 Witherspoon Street, Princeton, NJ

What is a Climate Action Plan and Why Does Princeton Need One?

Countries, states and cities across the world are adopting climate action plans to mitigate and prepare for the effects of climate change. Princeton is ready to step up and create its own plan. What does this mean and how can it be accomplished? Join us for an important discussion on the reasons why Princeton needs a Climate Action Plan with guest speakers, Sophie Glovier, Princeton-based environmental advocate and author of Walk the Trails In and Around Princeton, and George T. DiFerdinando, Jr., a board-certified general internist who has combined a career in public health and higher education with a sustained professional and personal interest in the impact of behavior on physical health.

This event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served. Co-sponsored by the Princeton Public Library and supported by NRG Energy.

Please join us at the 1867 Sanctuary in Ewing for a delightful evening of music and song from the Renaissance celebrating the passage from this year's harsh, cold Winter into the lovelier Spring and Summer. Our group will include soprano and tenor voices, Renaissance recorders, percussion, and two pluckers performing on lutes, Renaissance guitar, and Renaissance cittern. We've pulled together what promises to be a joyfully entertaining program with pieces that relate to the season of Spring and some of the themes that come with it - flowers, birds, and young love
