Solstice Run, The Watershed Institute

Join us for our Solstice Run on June 20! This year we are offering in-person and virtual race options! Run or walk in our race on our beautiful trails or a path of your choice as you support The Watershed Institute and its mission to protect our environment and clean, safe, and healthy water.Our in-person run will have a choice of 5K and 10K distances, with chip timing, starting at 9 a.m. on June 20. We will have safe, staggered start times for runners.

The virtual races will be 1 mile, 5K, 10K, and 15K distances and we have expanded the race dates. The Walk/Run will take place from Friday through Sunday (June 18-20).

Hopewell Farmer’s Market

Fairgrown Farm hosts the Hopewell Farmer’s Market in Hopewell every Sunday starting May 9th through late November. Along with all of Fairgrown’s fresh produce, there is a variety of vendors selling everything from grass-fed beef to beautiful bouquets. Come join us!

Cane Pole Fishing, Nature Center at Washington Crossing State Park

Come out to the pond and use a basic fishing pole made from a bamboo shoot and rigged to catch bluegills. Any caught fish will be released but you get to take your cane pole home.
