Join Washington Crossing Audubon Society at 8:00 AM on Sunday, May 5 for a free, guided birding trip led by Sharyn Magee and Franta Broulik at the Ted Stiles Preserve at Baldpate Mountain, a Mercer County Park located north of the New Jersey Washington Crossing State Park. Directions: From Pennington-Washington Crossing Rd. (Rte. 546) go past Washington Crossing State Park to the intersection with Rte. 29. Turn right and go two miles to Fiddler's Creek Rd. The MOSAIC Center for Arts, Culture and Ideas will present an Israeli and Middle-Eastern Cooking demonstration by Chef Jill Schoenfeld on Sunday, May 5 at Adath Israel Congregation of Lawrenceville, New Jersey. Chef Schoenfeld is a former food stylist at QVC where she provided presentation expertise to on-air talent, vendors, and guests. As a Corporate Chef at Glenmede Trust Company in Philadelphia, she created innovative, upscale, seasonal menu options for prestigious clients. Currently Chef Schoenfeld is part of The Chef’s Warehouse, a purveyor of artisan and high- quality products with a large selection of specialty foods from around the world. She shares her product knowledge with local chefs and restaurant owners. She is also the founder and owner of Finkie’s Cookies, a gourmet cookie company.

This semi-formal tea service will include a variety of teas, finger sandwiches, and pastries. An entertaining discussion of the history of the Officers' House and the women who called it home ?will enliven the afternoon! There will be a silent auction to give you the opportunity to bring home a prize and further your support of the Old Barracks Museum! Tickets include all refreshments and a tea cup to take home with you! ?Brunch attire is suggested. All proceeds benefit the operating expenses of the Colonial Summer Camp which is offered via scholarship to Trenton students in conjunction with the Nicky Fifth Foundation.
