The Peacock Inn, the only luxury boutique hotel and fine dining restaurant in the heart of Princeton, NJ, will expand their wine program with a new monthly series of events, Taste & Learn Premiere Wine Pairings. Oenophiles gather with our sommelier and winery representatives to taste a selection of premiere wines and learn how to enjoy and evaluate wine. Wines will be accompanied by complementary small plates from our team of executive chefs.

The Peacock Inn's first Taste & Learn event, on Wednesday, July 17, 2019, from 5:30pm to 7:30pm, celebrates Bastille Day with champagnes from Frerejean Fréres. $125 per person. Seating is limited.

With the Emcee’s bawdy songs as wry commentary, Cabaret explores the dark, heady, and tumultuous life of Berlin’s natives and expatriates as Germany slowly yields to the emerging Third Reich. Musical numbers include “Willkommen,” “Cabaret,” “Don’t Tell Mama” and “Two Ladies.”

Stage choreographer Bob Fosse worked on some of the most memorable stage productions of the 20th century, and in the 1970s began directing film. His most notable work is 1972’s CABARET about a young American dancer, played by Liza Minnelli, performing in Germany during the last days of the Weimar Republic. The film took home 8 Academy Awards, including Best Direction and Best Actress, and is considered to be one of the best stage-to-film adaptations of all time.
