Arm In Arm invites the community to “People, Poverty & the Power to Overcome – Supporting Economic Mobility.” The May 3 event, taking place at Trenton’s popular Artworks gallery, will begin at 6:30 pm with a cocktail reception followed by a moderated panel discussion and audience Q&A. Artworks is located at 19 Everett Alley.
Dr. Jianping Wang, President of Mercer County Community College, will be joined in a timely discussion by fellow panelists Virgen Velez, Director, Mercer County One Stop Career Center; and Peter Fasolo, Chief Human Resources Officer at Johnson & Johnson and an Arm In Arm board member. Carolyn Biondi, Executive Director of Arm In Arm, will moderate the panel’s discussion of topics on workforce development and sustaining a living wage.
