Good Grief's 5K Run & Walk

Drill & Play Tennis Fundraiser, NJTL of Trenton's Annual Capital Cup

Tennis enthusiasts are invited to mark May's National Tennis Month in style at the NJTL of Trenton Annual Capital Cup Fundraiser. Scheduled for Sunday, May 19, 2024, from 9 am to 3 pm, the event is proudly hosted by NJTL of Trenton in partnership with their long-time supporter, The Trenton Country Club, located in West Trenton, NJ.

Festivities include tennis drills conducted by local favorite teaching pros on TCC's beautiful outdoor Har-Tru courts, a student tennis exhibition, a continental breakfast and buffet lunch with wine and craft beer, and an Awards ceremony. A fabulous raffle is also planned, featuring coveted items such as tickets to the US Open, private lessons with top local pros, and kids' summer camp!

All proceeds will help NJTLT continue its mission of creating opportunities and providing academic programs and services to enhance the lives of under-resourced youth in Trenton and surrounding areas.

Discovering Morven at Princeton Walking Tour

Explore Princeton's Mercer Hill neighborhood and the Stockton family's fascinating history on this springtime walk led by the authors of Discovering Princeton: A Photographic Guide with Five Walking Tours. This 90-minute tour will highlight the Stocktons' profound influence on both the town and its institutions for over two centuries.

The tour will begin and end at Morven. Free parking is available in Morven’s parking lot (located at 55 Stockton Street, Princeton, NJ). Your ticket includes access to visit the museum (open from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.) the day of the tour, featuring the museum’s newest exhibition, Morven Revealed: Untold Stories from New Jersey’s Most Historic Home. Space is limited to 25 participants so act fast to reserve your spot. Please plan to wear comfortable shoes for walking and dress for the weather. The rain date for the tour is Sunday, June 2, 2024.

Battlefield Tour, Princeton Battlefield Society

Spend a Sunday afternoon at the Princeton Battlefield State Park and learn more about the Battle of Princeton, a battle that ended the "ten crucial days" of 1776-1777. Walk in the footprints of Washington's troops and listen to exciting narratives of soldier and civilian experiences. Your tour is led by an approved Historical Interpreter. Following the approximate one hour tour, visit the historic Thomas Clarke House, the home of a Quaker farming family and the only remaining structure from the January 3, 1777 Battle of Princeton.
