McConkey’s Market, Washington Crossing Historic Park

McConkey’s Market returns for its 10th fall season on Saturday, September 14 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Washington Crossing Historic Park (PA). Held only twice a year, the market features nearly 100 vendors selling an eclectic mix of artisan crafts, up-cycled items, vintage goods, handmade jewelry, original art and photography, pottery, reclaimed furniture, and collectibles. The market also includes live music and several food vendors.

McConkey’s Market takes its name from the park’s historic McConkey Ferry Inn. The building represents a typical country inn or tavern of the Revolutionary era. Tradition has it that George Washington ate at the inn prior to his crossing of the Delaware River.

50th Anniversary Celebration, D&R Canal State Park

Speak with partner organizations including historic and environmental groups, walk through the historic Grist and Saw Mills and learn their stories, meet Smokey the Bear and his friend Woodsy the Owl, and enjoy a fresh street taco from Tia's Tacos or a sweet treat from Kona Ice while enjoying the acoustic sounds of The Successful Failures. Full Moon Bike Ride, LHT

Bike a 6-mile loop loaded with surprises under the glow of the moon. Decorate your bike and compete for a prize. Enjoy a DJ at the start and finish, plus fanciful lighting, the Trenton Circus Squad’s glow-in-the-dark juggling show and live music along the route. Reward yourself with s’mores around the campfire. It’s so much fun that you might want to do the route more than once!
