Poetry Workshop: Persona Poetry + Benjamin Banneker, National Museum of African American History and Culture

International slam poetry champion Anthony McPherson leads a workshop on persona poems — poems written from the point of view of the person or object being written about. Participants look at examples of persona poems and spend time composing their own piece based on the remarkable life of Benjamin Banneker.

Online Lunchtime Gallery Series, WWAC & Princeton University Art Museum

WWAC presents an exciting and engaging online series. Each session is led by a Princeton University Art Museum Docent showcasing works from the Museum’s outstanding collections.

“What do objects tell us about the Culture of Mesoamerica?” This session will be led by Sandy Kurinsky. She became a docent after retiring from a 25 year career in business. In a prior life, she was a preschool teacher. She is a lifelong learner who loves to be with her family, travel and row on Lake Carnegie.
